A Change In The Balance of Power

We are living in some of the greatest days the church has ever known. It is a day of transition. God is unveiling some things that will prepare us for the next stage of His program here.

Several weeks ago, God began to deal with me about the Kingdom of God and that we had been preaching many things, but neglecting the Kingdom. This came out of a request of a Pastor that we pray about whether it was God to set up a school within his church. Although the pastor and board decided it was not yet time, God began immediately upon his question to download into my spirit a totally different model for education as per Kingdom principles.

There will be more on this as He further develops it in my spirit, but in this article, I want to speak of three passages of scripture that flow together and manifest the time in the days to come, when the balance of power changes experientially in the heavenlies.

Many have been the teachings on the "last trump". I am not about to argue as to what it is and when it is, I am just going to present scripture and let the Holy Spirit witness to you whether what I share is truth or not.

Down through the years I have been exposed to the multiple approaches to the end time. In my own study, I have set aside all of those and looked at the scriptural use for trumpets and so have a unique perspective when folding in all those truths concerning the sounding of the trumpets.

(Rev 10:7 KJV)  But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Rev 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

In these three passages we find that something has changed in the heavenlies. Although it is clear from scripture that Jesus defeated Satan at Calvary, the fullness of that victory is not manifest until the above time.  Just as there was a sense in which Adam died the day he partook of the fruit, that death did not manifest fully until over 900 years later.

There is an attitude that seems to prevail that Solomon noticed:

Ecc 8:11  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

In the human heart is this tendency that the enemy of our soul preys upon. Because of this evil increases. Evil does not believe what God spoke through Jacob to Gad, one of the tribes listed in the 144,000.

Gen 49:19  Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

This is the strategy of God in the end time. We see it in the passages surrounding our basic passages. God is setting things up so that His triumph is undeniable. The manifestation of His power is incomparable to any man or demons have ever seen. The greatness of His victory incontestable.

At the sounding of the 7th trumpet, which lasts for a number of days, there is a culmination of the mystery of God which is; "Christ in you the hope of glory"(Col. 1:27). This hope has now become "Christ in you the Glory". There is a people who have passed from the realm of Hope into the realm of Love and become THE GLORY OF GOD. The Glory is manifest in their lives so that people who see them say, God is in you of a truth. They do the greater works because He Who went to the Father has grown to full maturity in them and there is nothing in them to inhibit the manifestation of that which has "grown up into Him in all things".

It is this people, manifesting the maturity that is available in Christ Jesus who are raised in Revelation 11. It is these who change the balance of power in Revelation 12. Twice the declaration of the transfer of kingdoms to the Kingdom of our God and of His Christ is made. It is this time the enemy is cast down to the earth, and has no more access to the heavenlies or heaven.

From this point on in the Book of Revelation the Kingdom of God increases. The Great Tribulation is the last ditch effort of Satan to hang onto that which he has claimed as his since the fall of man.

Today, God is preparing a people for this moment and this level of warfare. It is a time of choice. Prepare for war in the heavenlies by allowing God to remove from your life all that would respond to temptation of the three major problems in man.

These three major problems were seen in the temptation of Eve and the temptation of Jesus.(1Jn 2:16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  Jas 1:14  But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.    15  Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.)

  • The Lust of the Eye
  • The Lust of the Flesh
  • The Pride of Life

It is the heart of God to set us free from these and the enemies ability to draw us away from our dwelling place in the Spirit through them. How those things manifest in our lives is different for each person, depending on their bend, but, that they do manifest and are used to draw us out of the Spirit is evident. Jesus came to set us free from those. it is conquering them within that equips us for the end time war in the heavenlies.

It is a people who have fought this war within and won by grace, that will be the ones to help Micheal cast satan from heaven to the earth and eventually see the earth rid of his influence as the Kingdom comes to earth.

Will you be among that people??
