Eye Guided Computers and the Prophetic Implications

If you have time, the link above leads to the portion of news that came into my email box today. Or maybe it was on facebook, I cannot remember. I only remember what hit my spirit as I read through the article.

Scripture clearly states, "first that which is natural, then that which is spiritual. 1Co 15:46  Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

This causes this "proto-type" computer to become a shadow of a reality spoken of in scripture.

In the article the basic outline of how the computer functions is described. Interesting enough this computer interacts by following the eye movement. Cameras on the computer focus to catch the movement and the reflection of light on the eye and then react accordingly.

While pastoring my first church back in 1971(I think) we had an incident that forever stuck in my memory that illustrates on a human level, what this computer is doing. A problem arose in the service in which something needed to be done. The service was being taken away from the direction of the Spirit and because of the circumstances I could not stand up and confront it at that time. My wife was at the back of the church taking care of one of our babies.

Because of the angle of my chair, I could look over the congregation and catch her eye. When I did, neither of us said anything, but she began to intercede with me very quietly, and God turned the service back on course, because two of us had agreed, but no words had passed. We had read each other's eyes and caught the needed instruction and prayed things back on line.

The Psalmist sharing with us the instruction of the Lord to him made an awesome statement about the ability of God to guide us. He was also speaking prophetically of a people in the end of the church age, although David lived in the Age of the Law.

Psa 32:8  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

If, in the real of men, they are producing "machines" that can be guided by the eye, then is God less capable than man. All God requires is a people who seek His Face, so they can look Him in the eyes.

If machines can read our eyes, how much more the Lord of Glory who made us. This means that there will come forth a people who "get in God's face" and come to know His "eye language" which is a love language. When you can read the eyes of another to know what the "instructions" are, then you know them very well.

Jer 9:23  Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:  24  But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

It is God that says, this level of knowing Him is possible. Not only does He say we can know Him, but that we can understand Him. If this is the case, then we can at least know Him enough to read the "instruction" in His eyes.

I want to be among those who know Him that well, and live at that level of intimacy, that He said He would bring us to.

He will guide me with His eye!!!!
